About

I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Media Studies with a minor in Business Administration from Radford University in Radford, VA. While a student at Radford, my main focus was on studio television production and writing. After graduation, I continued my studies at American University in Washington, DC and received a Master of Arts degree in Film and Video. At American, my focus was on screenwriting for television and feature length film.

After graduation, I took my love of film to another level and started Wilson Wheaton Productions, an independent film and video production company. My third screenplay, Again, provided the material for our inaugural production. Again was produced on location in the Washington, DC metropolitan area with local actors and fueled my love of production. I also wrote the material for our second production, Love Song, which was produced on location in Radford, VA.

To further develop my business skills, I decided to return to school and in 2014, I earned an MBA from Georgia State University. Using my new appreciation for marketing and business, along with my experience in film production, I made the decision to steer slightly right and start a marketing and web design business. I have had the privilege of working with small businesses, nonprofit organizations, political campaigns, research labs, and educational institutions.

I am thankful that I have been able to combine my love for all things creative in the work that I do.
